A Ground-Up Restaurant, Start to Finish
Left Coast Electric (LCE) is a licensed electrical and low voltage contractor headquartered in San Dimas, CA. At North Italia Mission Viejo, the job was more than an interior build-out. It was a new building plus the restaurant tenant improvement inside it, so our work ran from the ground up: underground work on the site, then the electrical, lighting and low voltage systems for the building and the restaurant.
This is our second North Italia project. We also handled the electrical for the full tenant improvement at North Italia Brea →
Our Scope at North Italia Mission Viejo
- Underground. Underground work on the site for the new building.
- Electrical. Power for the new building and the restaurant, from the electrical room out to the kitchen and dining areas.
- Lighting. Interior lighting for the restaurant, including the pendant lights over the open kitchen.
- Low voltage. Low voltage systems for the restaurant.
Inside the Build
The restaurant is built around an open kitchen. Black pendant lights hang over the kitchen line and the pass, with recessed lights set into the ceiling. Behind the scenes, rigid conduit runs travel in tight, evenly spaced banks across the electrical room ceiling, supported on strut and turned down neatly to the equipment below.

Why Restaurant Groups and GCs Call LCE
- Ground-up and TI under one contractor. Underground, electrical, lighting and low voltage on the same job means fewer handoffs between trades.
- Repeat restaurant work. North Italia brought us back after Brea for its Mission Viejo location.
- Clean, organized installs. Conduit and equipment laid out so they are easy to inspect, service and add to later.
- Licensed in three states. California #1105569, Arizona ROC 352637 and Nevada 0095572.
